Winners Day

Our school has always had an excellent academic record. This academic year too, the students who faced All India Senior Secondary Exam (AISSE) came out with flying colours 58 students faced the board exam. 12 Students scored above 90% and 36 of them got distinction. Winners day was organized and trophies were given to the toppers by the school management.


All the toppers were honoured and awarded on Winners Day conducted on the school management gave away awards to the toppers .Our students have always made us proud with their achievements.

Youth Fest

Students get an opportunity to exhibit their talents in co curricular activities as well. The school conducted youth festival in the last week of July. Several intramural competitions were held in the school. Most of them participated in literary and cultural competition.

The best performers won prizes. The youth festival became a joyous and momentous occasion for the entire school including the students as well as teachers.

School Kids Fest

Our tiny tots of kindergarten also had their joyous moments during kid’s fest. There was a ocerwhelming co-opeation from all the kids and their parents so that we could organize a  variety of programmes.  The small kids participated in as many programs they could and  proved extremely competitive in the various competitions held for them.

Various literary and cultural programmes were also organized for the tiny tots. They participated with a lot of enthusiasm and joy and won several prizes our kids proved that they were no less than their seniors.

World environment day

World Environment Day (WED) is celebrated on the 5th of June every year, and is the United Nation's principal vehicle for encouraging awareness and action for the protection of our environment.WED has grown to become a global platform for public outreach, with participation from over 143 countries annually.

The day was celebrated in the most unique way. Hundreds of saplings were distributed to the children. An awareness on the importance of trees was created. The students were too excited to get the saplings and vowed to plant more tree in and around the campus.

International Day of Yoga

On 21st June 2018, the school celebrated International Yoga Day. We had guests from Riju Yoga centre who spoke at length to children about the need to incorporate Yoga in their daily life.

Brahmakumaris from the Yoga centre stressed on the importance of yoga for physical and mental well being. There was a demonstration of several Yogasanas for the children.

Yoga is not a religion, it is a way of living that aims towards a healthy mind in a healthy body. Man is a physical, mental and spiritual being; yoga helps promote a balanced development of all the three.

Independence Day

Patriotism is a value that is infused in the young minds right from the time they step into the Bhavans campus .We celebrated Independence Day with a lot of enthusiasm and patriotic fervour.

The Principal hoisted the National flag and students rendered patriotic songs and Bhajans on the special day.  Two of our students gave speeches reminding everyone of the sacrifice that was made by on freedom fighters and the need to safeguard our freedom.

Martyr’s Day

Martyr’s Day was observed on Jan 30th.The entire school stood in silence as a mark of respect for the father of the Nation. Students of class 6 sang Bappu’s   favourite  Bhajans like ’ Vaishnavajanathe …and Raghupathi Raghava Raja Ram…’on the day.

The class teachers made sure that the children were made aware about the importance of the day. Martyrs' Day is an annual day observed by nations to salute the martyrdom of soldiers who lost their lives defending the sovereignty of the nation.

Annual Day

Annual Day forms an integral part of our school activities. It is an occasion of celebration, felicitation, feast and festivity when students present not only their wonderful performances but also receive honours for their curricular and co-curricular achievements.

Bhavans Vikas Vidyalaya celebrated its 27th Annual day on 9th February 2019. Member of Parliament Shri E T Mohammed Basheer was the chief guest for the occasion. Christmas Celebration

Christmas is an annual festival, commemorating the birth of Jesus Christ, observed primarily on December 25 as a religious and cultural celebration among billions of people around the world.

Christmas was celebrated in the school on Dec 22nd. Students of class 8th made a crib of infant Jesus to celebrate the occasion. Ajmal of class 9 became the Santa clause .There was lot of excitement among the small kids as they danced and sang with joy around Santa clause.

Ramayana Week

Ramayana is one of the two major Sanskrit epics of ancient India, the other being the Mahabharata. Along with the Mahabharata, it forms the Hindu Itihasa.
The Ramayana Week begins nine days before Ramanavami, the birthday of Lord Rama.

Every year Ramayana week is observed with a number of activities headed by the Sanskrit department. ‘Ramayana Parayanam’ was done by the students during the morning assembly with a lot of devotion. There was an epic drawing competition depicting scenes from the Ramayana.
